Aurora's Fairy Princess Tea Party.

My sister Kileen is so talented at throwing a cute children's party. She complains that pinterest party ideas and images are misleading because they are paid for by sponsors, set up by professionals, and photographed by professionals. Even so I think Kileen did a really good job on a budget. She threw this little party in my backyard, for her daughter who was turning 5. Here are some pictures (not a professional, sorry). And for some reason I didn't photograph any of the cute food she set out :(

Room of Requirement Sleeper Chair!

I know I haven't even posted about Easter or my niece's fairy princess tea party yet... but those pictures are on my good camera that takes longer to upload.

About a month ago I saw this sleeper chair I've had my eye on since I first created my RofR. But the shipping costs were something like $200 so I couldn't justify buying it. I knew keeping my eye on it would pay off. Usually when JC Penny's has a free shipping if you spend x amount of dollars deal, it excludes furniture. Not this time! So I asked David if it would be okay I order it since shipping is free and it's a good price, and the kids will both have somewhere to sit when they watch tv or a movie in there, AND it gives us a bed for a family member should they need somewhere to sleep, ANNNND if he is sick or snoring really badly at night and I can't sleep... well now I've got somewhere to go sleep besides the couch.

I added a bit of egg foam type padding to the mattress to make it more comfortable. I want to sew cute pillow covers for the pillow. The ones it came with are a bit too boyish for my RofR. I would also like a nice pretty throw and possibly some arm covers... not sure I could sew that unless I took some sort of class.

I also want to change the paint color in the room, add an area rug, and switch the black curtains for some bright colored curtains... need to decide the room color first.
