David, while admiring a thermos he bought for the camping trip but didn't use: I really like this thermos, I'm glad I bought it, it will come in handy if I want to bring soup to work...
Me: Silence... thinking... realizing David doesn't eat soup, EVER. Cracking up laughing, can't breathe I think this is so funny, he said it so sincerely too... more laughter. David makes a sad face but is trying not to laugh too... I say: Yeah that will be great, you know, if one day you like soup!
